Be Courageous…

10464094_10202484745856274_7344183989254785736_nThis picture was taken on the day of my friend’s funeral. It was April 21, 2014 when I found out my longest Life Friend was battling Ewing Sarcoma bone cancer. A form of bone cancer that usually affects children. It rarely develops in adults over 30 years old. So much can happen in ten days! Just ten days earlier she sounded incredibly happy, telling me how nice and warm it was in Vegas. I remember telling her ironically, it was warm in Illinois, too…at 54 degrees. The weather in the mid west tend to fluctuate on a daily basis.

I went into heavy prayer for my friend, interceding on her behalf. She would update me on the progress. She thought she was going to make it…we all did. One thing I will never forget is her amazingly strong faith! She died on June 27th, four days after her 34th birthday. I loved my friend, but she is with our Heavenly Father in Heaven. I will see her again. Until then I have so much work to do here on earth and am willingly embracing every opportunity that God places in front of me. My prayer is to become EVERYTHING that God has created me to be and to change everyone’s life who is connected and will be connected to that promise on my life. Be Bold. Be Courageous. We are more than Conquerors. We are built for this fight. Place the whole armor of God on and Be ready!

“And We Dance”

to_dance_around_the_sun_by_schakoyana - CopyYou steady me.
Slow and sweet, we sway.
Take the lead and I will follow.
Finally ready now
To close my eyes and just believe.
That You won’t lead me where You don’t go.

When my faith gets tired
And my hope seems lost.
You spin me round and round
And remind me of that song.
The one You wrote for me.
And we dance
And we dance

And I’ve been told
To pick up my sword and fight for love.
Little did I know that Love had won for me.
Here in Your arms
You still my heart again
And I breathe You in like I’ve never breathed ‘till now.
And I will lock eyes with the One who’s ransomed me.
The One who gave me joy for mourning.
Oh I will lock eyes with the One who’s chosen me
The One who set my feet to dancing.

And we dance. And we dance.

Just You and me.”

Pillow Talk– CyberStyle!

The mo20130727_133311-MIXst beautiful curve on us women are our smiles! My woman crush on this Wednesday is StaceeMichelle. 🙂 My worth is found within and radiates from the inside out. I am beautifully and wonderfully made. But I didn’t always know this about myself and as a result, didn’t used to treat myself as if I were worthy. But when you know better, you do better! I know who I am and whose I am. Although I continue to pray for whomever my husband is. I will wait for when He finds me. A significant key to this is not to settle for what you are not satisfied with. Your spirit will connect with him. You will just KNOW he is the one! He will just KNOW you are the one! If your spirit does not connect…don’t move until God says “It’s time.” Selah...

Violin Worship

I recently became inspired to pick up my violin and play again. I played an Acoustic violin for years and will be pursuing my new love for the Electric Violin! I love the sound, the different effects and manipulation that can be done with an electric instrument, such as Reverb and distortions. I cannot wait to get my hands on one of these! My heart is to play for God! I will be playing everyday. Practice is Worship! Screenshot_2015-02-21-22-49-42-1 Screenshot_2015-02-21-22-52-03-1 Screenshot_2015-02-21-22-51-17-1

Dieu est l’Amour–God is Love!

God is LoveScreenshot_2015-02-14-11-25-57-1-1-1. If you and I never receive the love that God has for us, we will never love others the way He intended. For God is He who equips us with the love that reaches others. So it is He who is loving us rather directly or indirectly through those He placed in our lives to love. He is the Essence of Love. The Lover of our Souls! We are Loved! And I am a Lover of Love! Be willing to release that love to every person you come across, whether through conversation, encouraging words, or expression of touch–a warm hug. You are needed! You matter!

Happy Love Day!!

Trusting God

Sometimes the route God takes us seems like the long way or even a detour. Or maybe the unrealized visions lead to frustration. But I say, trust the process. Trust God. And once you arrive, you will discover that you were thinking too small in the first place! But while you trust God, ENJOY the journey because the lessons are found in each experience along the way.

When you act on what the Holy Spirit tells you, it expands your hope which increases your faith. Just as when people invest their money into the stock market, they are going to watch what their money is doing, because they are invested. Conversely, if you do not act on what the Holy Spirit gives you for someone else, there is no investment. Our two Greatest Commandments are that we love God and love our neighbor. Matthew 22: 37-39 “Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. And the second is that you love your neighbor as yourself.” In every interaction that you are in, is an opportunity for you to make an impact, by showing God’s love to other people. Lets attune our station to the frequency of the Holy Spirit by listening to what He wants of us, and then impact the Greatest Commandments! ~I’m going to be mindful of every interaction. Becoming Bolder!

Practicing Gratitude

The one thing I have learned is that abundance wears many faces, and when we focus on what we don’t have versus focusing on what we do have, we miss out on the blessings that have been given to us. NO ONE has everything, and we all imagined SOMETHING different for ourselves at some point. But… we mature and step out of our own narcissism and learn to practice gratitude. Learning to be grateful is the journey for every human being on this planet, no matter WHO we are. And when we are grateful…THAT’S when we have it all.

When we practice gratitude… happiness is inevitable.
